A friend's 1973 Optigan which amazingly he managed to find in England, and pretty locally at that. In our studio for a service.

"my VX600 was either failing auto calibration or was taking ages.
The solution is to check and adjust the DAC voltage to 2.5v
Makes a world of difference"

I play a track on the Synclavier I'm working and show the restoration of keyboard's timber frame following the same hand rubbed method as originally done by New England Digital with the synth was new!

"This polysix is in good working shape. It was a victim of battery corrosion and had a clone KLM-367 installed with a new battery. It also had the keyboard scaler replaced. The voices are pretty in tune, there is room for improvement. Also, the filter cutoff isn't perfectly adjusted on all of the voices. The roadcase it comes in is worn on the outside, but the foam inside is still good.
