The Bob Moog Foundation has not only been doing great work to catalogue Bob's archives but tremendous outreach too. As an embodiment of the mission to carry on his innovations fitting together as a new organic whole the human and the technical, Sean McDonald and other foundation members worked with HatchFest (an arts festival focused on innovation which is held regionally in different parts of the country), and the software group VidVox on some cool new Theremin Magic.

Here's a fun time lapse video by MySpace user cabinneighbors building a PAiA Theremax theremin. I'm not sure it would help you with any construction questions, I have to admit there's something wildly satisfying about seeing a theremin being formed out of a bag of parts in just slightly over 4 minutes.

Congratulations to ThereminWorld member MarbleMad on hitting the youtube home page yesterday withhis solar powered Altoids can theremin.
It may have rolled off by now, but was there long enough for three people I know to have seen it, and of course many more must have too.
Now they know the word Theremin and if one of them seeks further and gets hooked...

0006 has done it again! Just 2 days ago, he posted a video of himself playing Super Mario Bros. on his Etherwave Pro theremin. The blog-o-sphere is already abuzz with chatter about his latest video which is doing wonders for World Thereminization.
You might remember 0006 from his previous high-profile videos (Don't Worry, Be Happy, Legend of Zelda, Crazy). Maybe you were lucky enough to catch him at Ethermusic 2008. Either way, he's doing a great job of tapping into pop culture in a way that gets the theremin in front of countless new potential devotees!
