"This is the Multivox MX-75 Dual Voice Synthesizer, also known as the Hillwood Pulser M75 Dual Voice Synthesizer.

Unlike other Multivox/Hillwood synths you never seem to see the rare MX-75 for sale.

The Hillwood Pulser was developed and built by Hillwood (aka Firstman) in Japan. These synths were then rebadged as Multivox and sold in America. This is a very early example: the

"There were only 1,000 of these made in 1979, with each units having its serial number plate on the front panel. This one has a serial # 0167.

The unit appears to be working fine functionally, all the keys and knobs and switches working well as being tested. Maybe a slight scratch noise on some of the knobs when controlling, which could probably do with some adjustment/

"Composed on Eurorack modular synth and sampled into the Octatrack. I began by creating chord progressions with Ornament & Crime Acid Curds, Pressure Points, and four voices from the modular. After this first layer of sounds, I made a few percussion tracks on the OT and chopped up the vocal sample.

Next I patched up the Vermona QMI2 to have the OT MIDI

"While I was jamming around I had the idea to play the track 'Greece 2000' of Three Drives with my greek synths :)
The Dreadbox Erebus and NYX are sequenced by the Arturia BeatstepPro and the Hades is sequenced by the Roland Tb03. And all is synced to the Tr09. Hope you enjoy the track:)
