  • this software is a vocaloid btw, a voice synthesizer
    right, heres my story:

i wanted to get my own hatsune miku vocaloid, so i downloaded the torrent onto my computer and i did all of the stuff and its all ok on my computer now, BUT its telling me that its an ISO file (whatever that is) and that it cant find the right program to run it, please help me, i reeeeeeeeeally want a miku miku of my own TT^TT
if ive done everything WRONG could someone please send me a link to a WORKING hatsune miku vocaloid download, i would much appreciate it

  • First of all I plugged in my "delock" USB to MIDI cable to the synthesizer and then into my computer. Now I opened Magix Music Maker 16 and tried to record myself while playing the piano. I noticed that no sound is being written down and tried my laptop keyboard, just in case, to see is my program working. It turns out that it's working perfectly, as I heard my strokes on the synthesizer. Okay, now I needed to find a way to do the opposite thing- play the synth keys and hear them on my laptop, but guess what? I reached down for my cable to check the indicators and it turned out that the "out" port wasn't flashing, meaning that it isn't working. I tried everything to fix it, from restarting my computer, to using another software and even checking is the cable maybe connected wrong, but it wasn't any of these things. My cable is brand new, the synth is 2 years old, but it was always good. Is there anything else that I could do to fix my problem?

  • I'm in the market for my first synth, but I have been playing with different kinds/midi controllers/computer software so I'm starting to get a feel for what I want/need, but I don't know how to figure out which products have what I'm looking for, and I know there are pros around here. I'd like to spend between $200-700 and be able to do the following things:

    -mixing/sampling
I have a digital sound recorder with a USB connection, I would like to be able to get sound from that onto it or a way to get it from the computer to the synthesizer.
-A microphone/audio in (or attachment) I would really like to be able to do sort of crystal castles-esq (crimewave-y) vocals
    -headphone jack
-as much ability for different sounds/manipulation as possible. Lots on knobs and slidy things and buttons that light up and shit. You know. I want to be able to plug all kinds of stuff into in, and it into stuff (like...a computer I guess..)

I'm about to have a lot of time on my hands, and I want to make freaky noisy dance house pop eletrosex punk music.

Thank you for any suggestions you may have.

Treat Yourself :)
