  • i've wrapped my head around additive synthesis, fm synthesis, subtractive synthesis. i get the basics of how synthesizers work. (oscillators, filters, LFOs, etc). but i have no idea what wavetable synthesis is or how it works. i've googled it, but everything i've found is WAAAAYYYY over my head (math, really advanced synthesis)
    so what's wavetable synthesis in a nutshell?
